Getting Started with jet4us

Welcome to jet4us — the smarter way to fly private. This guide walks you through creating your account, setting up your profile, and taking your first steps on the platform.

Creating Your Account​

You can sign up in two ways:

  1. Email and password — enter your email address, choose a strong password, and confirm it.
  2. Google — tap Continue with Google and authorize jet4us to use your Google account.

Your account is ready immediately after signup.

You do not need to provide a phone number when signing up. You can add it later from your account settings. However, a verified phone number is required before you can create or join trips — see the next section.

Adding and Verifying Your Phone Number​

A verified phone number is required before you can create a trip, join a pooling trip, or reserve a seat. This is because operators need a reliable way to reach you about your flight.

To add your phone number:

  1. Tap your avatar in the top-right corner of the screen.
  2. Select Account from the menu.
  3. Find the Phone Number field and tap Add Phone.
  4. Enter your number in international format (e.g. +1 202 555 0100).
  5. Tap Send Code — a 6-digit SMS verification code will be sent to your phone.
  6. Enter the code in the verification field.
  7. Tap Verify — your phone is now confirmed and linked to your account.

Once verified, you can create and join trips right away.

Make sure you have ongoing access to this phone number. Operators may contact you directly using it in the lead-up to your flight.

Your Profile​

Your profile is visible to the travelers you fly with. Keep it up to date so your JetMates know who they're sharing a flight with.

Name​

Your first and last name appear on trip cards, booking confirmations, and in group chats.

  1. Go to your avatar menu → Account.
  2. Edit the First Name and Last Name fields.
  3. Tap Save.

Avatar​

Adding a profile photo is optional but recommended — it makes pooling feel more personal.

  1. Go to your avatar menu → Account.
  2. Tap your current avatar or the placeholder image.
  3. Choose a photo from your device, crop it, and confirm.

Changing Your Password​

If you signed up with email and password:

  1. Go to your avatar menu → Account.
  2. Tap Change Password.
  3. Enter your current password, then your new password twice.
  4. Tap Save.

If you signed up with Google, manage your password through your Google account — not through jet4us.

First Steps After Setup​

Once your account is ready and your phone is verified, here is a good starting sequence:

  1. Explore Fly Now — browse confirmed open-seat flights departing within the next 7 days. These are real flights with confirmed operators and schedules. If you see something that fits, you can book a seat immediately.

  2. Browse Book Seat — discover pooling trips that other travelers have already started. Find a route you like, see how many seats are available, and join the pool.

  3. Plan your own trip — use the Book Seat tab to create your own pooling trip and invite others to share the cost, or use Book Jet to charter an entire aircraft for your group.
