Payments
jet4us is a marketplace that connects travelers with private aviation operators. When it comes to payment, this means something important: you pay the operator directly. jet4us does not collect, hold, or process your payment.
How payments work
When your booking reaches Awaiting Payment status, you will see the operator's payment details and their specific terms inside your booking.
Payment is currently made by bank transfer outside the app. Once you have made the transfer, you upload proof of payment inside the app, and the operator reviews and confirms it.
The payment process, step by step
-
Your booking reaches Awaiting Payment Your seat is reserved and waiting. You receive a notification and can view payment instructions inside the booking.
-
Review payment details and operator terms Open the booking and read the operator's payment instructions carefully — including the account details, any reference number to include, and any terms or deadlines they have set.
-
Accept the operator's terms Before proceeding, you must confirm that you accept the operator's terms for this booking. This is a required step — you cannot submit payment proof without accepting terms first.
-
Make the bank transfer outside the app Using your bank's app, online banking, or branch, send the payment to the operator using the details provided. Keep your confirmation receipt or screenshot.
-
Upload your payment proof in-app Return to your booking and upload a screenshot or photo of your payment confirmation. This notifies the operator that your transfer is on its way.
-
Your booking enters Payment Under Review The operator receives your proof and reviews it against their bank records.
-
Operator approves or requests resubmission
- If approved: your booking status changes to Confirmed. You are on the flight.
- If not approved: you will be notified and can resubmit updated proof. This may happen if the transfer reference was missing, the amount was incorrect, or the bank record has not cleared yet.
Important things to know
jet4us is a technology marketplace — it is not a payment processor, bank, or escrow service. Your transfer goes directly to the operator's bank account. jet4us has no involvement in the movement of funds.
You must read and accept the operator's booking terms before you can upload payment proof. This is a one-time step per booking and protects both you and the operator.
Always keep a copy of your bank transfer confirmation until your booking status shows Confirmed. If there is any question about your payment, you will need this document.
What to do if there is a payment dispute
If you have uploaded valid payment proof but the operator has not confirmed your booking, or if there is any disagreement about your payment:
- Check that your transfer reference and amount match what was requested
- Allow reasonable processing time for bank transfers to clear (typically 1–3 business days)
- If the issue persists, contact jet4us support through the Chat tab in Jet4Me
jet4us support can mediate between you and the operator but does not have access to or control over the funds themselves.
